Founder & CEO
Amir Duvdevani
Amir is the founder of Optimum EDA Services, with more than 25 years of software development experience in the EDA industry. He is an expert in semiconductor design and verification flows; network computing management and optimization; version control management and administration; and DBA databases. In 2017 he founded Optimum EDA, providing a broad range of CAD services to Israeli customers.
In 2018 Optimum merged with Ruby EDA to create Ruby Cherry EDA until January 2025
Before starting Optimum, Amir managed the CAD FE and Infrastructure team at Apple Israel, headed the system validation team at Anobit and lead the CAD team at Lucidlogix Technologies.
Amir holds a B.Sc. in computer science from Ben Gurion University in Israel.

Principal CAD Engineer
Ezra Cohen-Yashar
Ezra is a Senior CAD Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the EDA industry, software design and VLSI physical design. he was a Senior engineer a developer of CAD tools at Intel & Cadence and a VLSI physical design engineer at Sondrel. Ezra worked at Ruby Cherry EDA in 2021-2025 and joined Optimum at 2025.
Ezra holds a M.Sc in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University. He is certified as an AWS Cloud Practioner.

Office Manager
Senior SW/CAD Engineer
Ariel is a senior software engineer with four years of experience specializing in automation and software solutions. From 2021 to 2025, Ariel worked at Ruby Cherry EDA as a Junior CAD & Software Engineer, developing automation tools and solutions for clients in the CAD and cloud domains. In 2025, Ariel joined Optimum, bringing expertise in Python, C, C++, web development, and IoT.
Ariel holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from The Technion and is a certified AWS Developer.

Principal CAD Engineer
Ronen Moldevan
Ronen joined Optimum EDA in 2023 as a Contractor, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the EDA industry. He is an expert in RF, Analog, and mixed-signal design flows, EDA software development, and design database management.
Prior to joining the company, Ronen held several senior positions in the VLSI industry in Israel. He led the CAD development and support for the RFIC team at Qualcomm Israel, served as the CAD Manager at DSP Group, and established the CAD team at Saifun Semiconductors (now part of Infineon).
Ronen holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Technion — Israel Institute of Technology and an M.Sc. in Organizational Behavior from Polytechnic University, NY
